  • What type of hair are you using?
We are using only the finest quality of hair in Remy quality, which means, that the cuticles are all showing in the same direction.
  • How long will my topper/wig last?
The longevity of the topper or wig strongly depends on how you use it and care for it. We recommend using high quality products, storing the topper properly, when unused and never sleeping in it. Also not overusing heat styling and generally not overwashing the topper will extend the longevity of the topper. With this said you can expect the topper to last 1-2 years or even longer with proper care. My eldest piece is in year 3 already and still looking fabulous.
  • Can I change the parting?
Yes, you can change the parting anywhere on the silk top area. The simplest and fastest way to do so, is to slightly dampen the hair on the part where you want it to be and then to blow it out dry in the direction you want the hair to fall.
  • How to wash the topper/wig properly?
The most delicate way to do so, is to put a few drops of a natural (sulphate&silicone-free) shampoo into a bowl with warm water, lather it up and to put the hair piece inside it for gently washing, while avoiding any rubbing on the top part and also the hair itself. Then after rinsing it out put a high quality conditioner or mask throughout the lengths of the hair (avoid the top area) and leave it on for few minutes or longer and rins it out gently. At the end you can put a drop of a good quality hair oil through the ends and your crown is ready to wear.
  • Can I colour the topper/wig?
If you want to change the colour slightly at your hairdresser, alwasy make sure, that the silk top part does not come in contact with the dye. Also it is less damaging for the hair to slightly darken it, than to lighten it up. Virgin hair, which means, it is natural, unprocessed hair, can be lighten up with less damage. In each way it is best to take a strand of hair from underneath to test the result out.
